This farm, alongside its neighbouring property Mt. Johnson, owned by the Cullen family, became the epicentre of a landmark boundary dispute that not only shaped legal precedents but also the destinies of the families involved.

The discord arose over the boundary line between Clover Hill and Mt. Johnson, with the Cullen family claiming that it should encompass the nearby creek.
